ZOMG A PROBLEM!!!

Ok, you know how we wanted it so that the light would stay continously on? Weeeeellll yeah we cant do that.... tried and tried but we need electronic timers which are out of our price range to do it rather then the mechanical timers we have now! My dad and myself tried to explore different methods for making it work: (excuse the dirty napkin, we were out for my mums bday!)

But dont fear! I have some awesome game ideas we can implement for example:

There is one person instead of two, that one person presses one button (that goes off after 10 seconds) runs to a specific point, then runs back within the time limit and presses the next button and keeps going. The other idea is that the one person starts with 15 seconds, runs the course, then when they make that we turn it down to 14 seconds... we keep turning it down til they cant make the time! We can discuss this tomorrow during the testing anyway, im sure u guys will have more ideas too!!!

OK so here is one of the unfinished buttons I made (with help from dad!)! We are changing that flicky swtich to a press down switch!
For the day we are going to need extension chords! Long long long extension chords! Everyone please bring them in! x0x0x0 -Sarah

NEW GAME

OK guys, its time to get productive! Now, George your idea was totally awesome, loved it completely! But im not sure if we're all gonna be able to actually implement it in time. Matt and I had a brainstorming session last night, many ideas were shared (mostly silly like me: "What if we made a drinking game!" Matt: "Is that a physical game?" Me: "Oh yeah...") But then Matt had a awesome idea that we can implement!!

You guys know the beep test right? Well this is based off that, there are two buttons about 10 metres apart (though they will be wireless so we can move them and change this) Once you press one of the buttons a light will come on, that light will go off in a certain amount of time unless u press it again. So we have two people racing between the buttons, trying to press them before they go off. So lets say they have 5 or so rounds, and the one with the most points at the end of the 5 rounds loses (you get a point for every time the light goes off before you reach it). Or maybe the other way around

Pretty awesome right? Whats even more awesome is that my Dad is an electrician so I asked him about how we would go about making this and he knew straight away, he's going to show me how to make them!

I was also thinking this morning that we could make each of the rounds more interesting by making them do something different each time, like, they have to twirl around once in the middle... or something like that. This is something we can do as we test it out and stuff.

This is definatly a phyiscal exertion game, people WILL be tired at the end... I think when we present this we are going to need to give them some sort of incentive to play lol. I mean, we could pitch this idea as perfect for sports people training, in a way to make it more competitive and thus fun.

Any other ideas? Love this? Hate this? Let us know QUICKLY!
